WELCOME TO A COLLECTION OF CONTEMPORARY FICTION THRILLERS STARTING WITH:

A PRIVATE ENTERPRISE

After the Iraq War Washington drops its guard, forcing a billionaire patriot to navigate a maze of suspense, tension and surprise in a political thriller with top-gun action. The drug cartel consolidates in Central America. A dangerous successor to Saddam Hussein rules Iraq. As prosperity returns to Wall Street, terrorism is downplayed, ‘good times’ prevail, and military strength is cut back, leaving the door open to a unified drug cartel and to Iraq’s new iron man, Fazul bin Abbas. The aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise, is destined for the scrap pile. Clarke Sabin, patriot, ex-fighter pilot, hi-tech billionaire, buys the aging carrier with plans for restoration as a gaming hotel/cruise ship. Secretly, Sabin re-arms the carrier. His project is safe from major-power intervention; no statesman wants his indiscretions broadcast on the Internet. At a college reunion five young friends watch in horror as their alma mater, UCLA, is leveled by terrorist bombs. Five ordinary lives jump through the firewall, quickly going from the mundane to the extreme, when they join Sabin's furtive project. He renames the venerable aircraft carrier, Private Enterprise, and departs San Diego on a 'goodwill cruise' to settle the score, first to Central America and then to the Middle East.
